Furniture & Electronics Consignment

In order to meet our customers’ demands, OVERSTOCK OUTLET is adding a CONSIGNMENT division to our business.  By accepting consignment furniture & electronics, we will be able to offer our customers the range of offerings they have been requesting.  We are very excited to begin expanding the services we can provide.

For consignees, the process is simple.  Email, mail or deliver pictures of the furniture and/or electronics you’d like to sell.  Based on age, condition, and our ability to sell the merchandise, we will determine whether we can accept your goods.  You may deliver it to us yourself, or we can arrange pick-up at a reasonable fee.  Your items will be for sale on our website.  There are many reasons to sell your furniture and electronics by consignment; newspaper ads generate little interest, strangers need not come to your home, and your profit will be higher than from a garage sale to name a few. OVERSTOCK OUTLET will handle all the work for you.  We are offering industry standard payment schedules.  Rules and payment schedules are available on our website.

For the buyers, we pre-select the most desirable furniture and electronics that you would like for your home.  We are looking forward to having the bedroom sets, dining sets, dinettes, and living room furniture that you have been searching for at our deep discount prices.  We offer quality home furnishings and furniture that you cannot find anywhere else but at OVERSTOCK OUTLET.  You may sign up for our private email list and tell us what you are looking to buy.  We will contact you when a suitable match comes in.  Now more than ever, shoppers are tightening their belts and looking for the best buy on the quality they want.  Consignment shopping is an answer to that need.  As always, OVERSTOCK OUTLET offers delivery for a reasonable fee.

Terms

Overstock Outlet pays the consignor 55% of the item’s sale price.

Overstock Outlet’s Commission for handling the sale is the remaining 45%.

·         At 30 Days the price of the item will drop by 15% of the original sale price.

·         At 60 Days the price will drop by 30% of the original sale price.

·         At 90 days the consignment period will expire.  If an item is left in the store beyond the expiration date and sells, the money will go to Overstock Outlet without notice.  Overstock Outlet can arrange return delivery of the consigned items for a fee.

·         Items may be removed prior to 90 days at a fee of 25% of the original sale price.

·         Commission Checks are available for the prior month’s sales on the 20^th of each month.  Checks that are not picked up at the store are automatically mailed on the 30^th of each month.  There is a $3.50 check writing fee that is deducted from each commission check.  

·         Checks that are lost can be replaced for a $25 fee.
